Update Regarding the COVID-19 Vaccine
Many of you have reached out to us regarding the availability for the COVID-19 vaccine. We are still unclear when the vaccine will be available for the Internal Medicine & Pediatrics patients. We will follow the vaccine roll out guidance released by the CDC and North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS).
Your health is very important to us and we will notify you via email as soon as we have more information!

COVID-19 (C-19)
(Novel Coronavirus ) Important Information
We currently have capacity to test our patients for Covid as needed but can not accept new patients for testing.
We are working very hard at Internal Medicine and Pediatrics to be able to continue providing quality care during these difficult times.
We would like to continue to provide care within our office and therefore ask that no one enter the building who has fever, cough, muscle aches, fatigue, shortness of breath, sore throat or any other upper respiratory or even gastrointestinal illness at this time.
For those who have any of these symptoms please call the office and we will arrange for the most appropriate follow up care. For those that qualify for Covid-19 testing we have capability to do this for you in our dedicated outside clinic.
For those not qualifying for testing who would like to review symptoms with your doctor we can arrange a televisit to provide further guidance about best care and next steps.
For those who have upcoming regularly scheduled well visits we are comfortable with providing that care in our office as we are working to eliminate exposure risk as above. If you are sick, as above, we ask that you reschedule. If you would be more comfortable with touching base with your Doctor virtually we have quickly come up to speed with this and would appreciate you keeping your appointment but transitioning to a televisit.
We are asking that all patients arriving at the office call to check in virtually so that we can screen for any symptoms before entering the building.
We understand you may have questions and concerns about C-19 or Novel Coronavirus. You may be receiving information from numerous sources, not all of which may be reliable. The best current source of information is the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) at CDC.gov. A local source of information would be the NC Department of Health and Human Services under the “Public Health” tab at ncdhhs.gov/division/dph or at 1-866-462-3821. As always you can reach us at our office phone (919-380-7531) or using the patient portal on our website.
Thanks for trusting Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Associates, PA to care for you and those in our community. Try to check on neighbors and friends that may have needs during these times, and pay attention to your own mental health wellness during times of stress. We wish you good health!
